Jail Bird Beauties

It is alarming once you start speaking with women about Domestic Violence and learning their story you often hear about them spending a night in the slammer.  Another common thread is the women that were jailed were often told my the arresting police officers that “it seems there is more to your story, you should open up more to your family” or “you need to reach out and get help”.  The irony is that the signs are there, its seemingly apparent to law enforcement.  Often she is cornered, she is fighting back, in some instances throwing her drink at him, others scratching him in an effort to protect herself.  She gets pushed and pushed over and over and then the abuser uses the opportunity to “build his case”.  Sociopaths take and use the opportunity to turn the scenario pegging themselves as the victim of a “crazy” girlfriend/wife.

Psalm 43:1 Vindicate me, O God and plead my cause against an ungodly nation; rescue me from deceitful and wicked men.
